Our Delivery Process

From digger to dealer to bait shop delivery, here’s how the route runs.

Diggers Work the Flats

Worm diggers time the tides and work the mudflats to harvest sandworms and bloodworms. Once sorted, the worms are brought to Maine worm dealers.

Dealers Pack + We Coordinate the Run

Dealers pack worms for wholesale sale. Seaworm Express coordinates pickup windows with dealers, then lines up delivery timing with bait shops so everyone knows when to expect the order.

Seaworm Express Delivers Wholesale Orders

We transport and deliver wholesale worm orders securely and on schedule, keeping handling tight so bait arrives in good condition.

About Us

How it Started

SWE started the way a lot of real coastal businesses start: doing whatever worked, then improving it one upgrade at a time. Early on, it meant moving bait with a DIY-insulated setup and a lot of problem-solving—keeping product cool, keeping timing tight, and learning what shops and dealers actually need to stay consistent. As demand grew, we invested into proper refrigerated transport and built a dependable routine around the only clock that matters out here: the tide.

What We do Now

Today SWE coordinates wholesale pickups with worm dealers in Maine and delivers to live bait shops along the corridor up to New York. We work with each stop to confirm counts, timing, and handling so fresh Maine sandworms and bloodworms arrive in sell-ready condition. We also offer off-season transport for non-edible marine products when it fits our capacity and equipment.

Built on Tide Time

This business runs on consistency: clear communication, careful handling, and showing up when we say we will. Live product doesn’t forgive delays or sloppy planning, so we treat every run like it matters—because it does.
